Pricing and Payment

+ Every work is unique and so the price of each varies. Subject matter, style and the amount of refinement will affect it. Contact me with the idea you’ve decided on and I’ll give you an exact quote.

Note: When contacting me for a price quote, please include whether or not I will retain printing rights. The above prices reflect commissions that I will sell prints of.

+ Refunds can be given at any time during the creation of the art should they be requested. However, I will keep the amount equal to the value of the work that has been completed to that point.

+ Payment is expected upfront for anything under $50 – I won’t begin work until payment is received. For works costing more than this I will accept partial payment up front (at least 50%) and the remainder after the sketch has been approved.

+ I accept payments through Paypal.

Guidelines, Terms and Conditions

Please read these guidelines carefully before commissioning me - I can be flexible to suit your needs if you ask beforehand. Once payment is sent you are bound by these conditions.

+ I retain all copyright to the work, including rights to make and sell prints. If you don't want me to sell prints of the work or you wish to have printing rights I'm happy to negotiate cost for this at the beginning of the commission. I currently sell my prints through DeviantArt.

+ I reserve the right to use commissioned work in my personal portfolio.

+ You may use the artwork in online community icons and signatures and may display it on your personal website. Private commissions cannot be used for commercial purposes without my written consent. You may make prints for your personal use.

+ Before a refined painting I’ll show you the sketch to be approved. I offer two sets of free changes before I charge an additional $5 per change.

+ For digital commissions you will be sent a smaller watermarked version for public display and a high resolution PNG or JPEG for your personal use at 300DPI. I currently don't send physical copies of online digital commissions.

+ For refined paintings and loose paintings I paint at A3 size, 300dpi - this will still print nicely at sizes larger than A3 but specify if you'd like a different size for your work.

+ I’ll keep in contact and will give you weekly updates on the progress of the work. Generally looser things shouldn't take me more than a week or two to complete. Refined paintings can take up to three.

+ I reserve the right to refuse any person a commission for any reason.
